West Ham United decided to sack head coach Graham Potter just two days before their match against Everton. The replacement is former Premier League manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Potter became the second Premier League coach to lose his job this season, notably replaced by the same person who was dismissed by Nottingham Forest earlier in September.
The 50-year-old coach had only managed West Ham in 25 matches since taking over from Julen Lopetegui in January. However, poor form — with just 3 wins in the last 15 Premier League games — dropped the "Hammers" to 19th place in the standings. The 1-2 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend was the final blow for Potter.
