Hà Nội returns to the top position in the 2025 Women's National Championship

Round 6 of the 2025 Women's National Championship – Thái Sơn Bắc Cup: Hà Nội confirms its superior level.

Hà Nội continues to display excellent form with a convincing victory over Phong Phú Hà Nam in round 6 of the 2025 Women's National Championship – Thái Sơn Bắc Cup.

After TP.Hồ Chí Minh I secured an early win, Hà Nội had to earn 3 points against Phong Phú Hà Nam to maintain their lead. However, the opponent’s resilient defense posed significant challenges. It wasn’t until the 45+1 minute that they managed to open the scoring through Phạm Hải Yến.

This marked the beginning of an impressive performance by the Vietnamese national player. In the 51st minute, Hải Yến scored again to extend the lead to 2-0 with a precise finish. Phong Phú Hà Nam’s hopes were revived by Vũ Thị Hoa’s goal 14 minutes later. But during stoppage time, Hải Yến sealed the 3-1 victory for Hà Nội.

Meanwhile, Than KSVN quickly broke the deadlock with an early goal by Nguyễn Thị Thúy Hằng in the 12th minute. Early in the second half, Trần Nhật Lan doubled the lead with a beautiful strike. Although Thúy Nga scored in the 62nd minute, it was not enough for Thái Nguyên T&T to earn a point. Thus, Hà Nội remains at the top of the standings after round 6.

The 2025 Women's National Football Championship – Thái Sơn Bắc Cup features 6 teams: Hà Nội, Phong Phú Hà Nam, TP.HCM I, TP.HCM II, Than Khoáng Sản Việt Nam, and Thái Nguyên T&T. This year’s champion will represent Vietnam in the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27. This adds significant excitement and intensity to the title race compared to last season.
