Harry Kane has officially addressed rumors about a Premier League comeback, confirming he is happy at Bayern Munich and has no plans to return to England soon.
Following Bayern Munich's 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen in the sixth round of the Bundesliga, striker Harry Kane spoke out about speculation regarding a possible early return to the Premier League. The English star stated he still has a contract until 2027 and currently sees no reason to leave.
“There’s no reason to worry. I think they are satisfied with me, and I’m happy here,” Kane shared after the match, according to reporter Martin Volkmar.
Kane’s explosive form has amazed fans and experts alike. In just five matches, he has scored 10 goals, achieving an incredible rate and challenging the 41-goal season record set by Robert Lewandowski. However, Kane insists he is not focused on breaking records or competing with Alan Shearer’s Premier League scoring record.
“When I left England, I thought maybe one day I’d come back to chase that milestone. But since arriving here, I’ve truly enjoyed playing at this level,” Kane added.
In the recent match, Bayern Munich completely dominated. With Joshua Kimmich absent due to illness, coach Thomas Tuchel gave opportunities to Tom Bischof and Leon Goretzka in midfield, both of whom performed well. Up front, the “Bavarians” were extremely efficient, continuously applying pressure that left Bremen helpless.
The 4-0 win not only solidifies Bayern’s position as the top contender in the Bundesliga but also shows Kane’s quick adaptation and emergence as the new leader in attack. With his impressive current form, the England captain promises to remain a key figure this season in Germany, confirming that his decision to leave Tottenham for Bayern was entirely right.
