Not Liverpool, only one team remains unbeaten in the Premier League

As of the 6th round of the Premier League, there is only one team that has yet to suffer a defeat.

The 6th round of the Premier League brought many surprises, one of which was the defeat of the reigning champions Liverpool. Coach Arne Slot's squad showed resilience by scoring a late equalizer, but they still ended up losing during stoppage time to Crystal Palace.

This means that Crystal Palace is currently the only Premier League team that remains undefeated up to this point in the 2025/26 season.

Notably, under coach Oliver Glasner, the team has extended their unbeaten streak in the Premier League to 18 matches, including 10 wins and 8 draws. Their last defeat was on April 12th, when they lost 2-5 away to Manchester City in the previous season.

Moreover, Crystal Palace's recent victory was highlighted by their triumph over Liverpool, currently regarded as the strongest club in Europe. Just over a month ago, the Selhurst Park team also caused an upset at Wembley by defeating Liverpool in the FA Community Shield match.

In the post-match press conference, coach Oliver Glasner expressed great pride in his players' performance under the pressure of facing the reigning champions.

The Austrian strategist said: "This was the best half we have played since I and my coaching staff arrived here. The only thing missing was that we were only leading by one goal, which is a very narrow margin. When you face the champions, you always know they can come back at any moment. Looking at their recent games, they often score in the final minutes.

In reality, the second half put us under tremendous pressure. There were moments when luck favored us, and Dean Henderson made crucial saves in several key situations.

What I am most proud of today is that even after conceding an equalizer in the 90th minute, we stayed composed. Usually, in such circumstances, the momentum shifts and you risk losing the match. But we held our heads high, continued attacking, regained control, and scored the decisive goal. That is what makes me extremely proud of this team."

With this victory, Crystal Palace temporarily climbed to 2nd place on the table, just three points behind Liverpool, demonstrating their readiness to challenge the top group this season.
