Thể Công - Viettel secured a 2-0 victory over Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh at Hàng Đẫy stadium thanks to the brilliance of forwards Lucao and Pedro Henrique. After a goalless first half against the visitors' tight defense, Viettel suddenly exploded early in the second half. In the 50th minute, from a precise cross by Đinh Viết Tú on the right wing, Lucao skillfully positioned himself and finished to open the scoring.
