AC Milan won against Napoli and took the lead in the Serie A standings despite playing with only 10 players under coach Max Allegri.
AC Milan hosted Napoli at home early this morning in the 5th round of Serie A. Saelemaekers put Milan ahead in the third minute after a burst of speed and a sharp cross from Pulisic, finishing close range to give Milan a 1-0 lead.
The score was extended to 2-0 in the 31st minute when Youssouf Fofana received a cross from Strahinja Pavlovic and then passed to Pulisic inside the penalty area. The ball slightly deflected off a Napoli defender’s foot, altering its path and leaving goalkeeper Alex Meret unable to stop it.
