The Vietnam Football Federation thanks Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund, and Werder Bremen for hosting the Vietnam U17 women's team training camp in Germany
After the Vietnam U17 women's national team completed their two-week training camp in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) sent a letter of thanks to Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund, and Werder Bremen for their warm hospitality, valuable support, and professional organization during the camp (from September 10 to 21, 2025).
During the training period, the U17 women's team experienced top-class facilities, fields, and training conditions, while also participating in friendly matches against the youth teams of Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen. This valuable opportunity allowed the young players to gain international exposure and accumulate practical experience competing at a high level.
Additionally, the team had the chance to watch Bundesliga matches live, interact with players and coaches from leading professional clubs, and explore the culture, lifestyle, and landmarks of Germany. These experiences strongly inspired and nurtured the football passion of the young Vietnamese players.
The Vietnam Football Federation confirms that the training camp not only provided high-level football experiences but also played an important role in preparing the Vietnam U17 women's team for the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, while marking a meaningful step in Vietnam’s youth women's football development strategy.
The “Bundesliga Dream” training camp from September 10 to 21 was praised for offering many valuable lessons, helping the young players gain crucial experience both technically and mentally. It also served as an important preparation phase for the team’s upcoming journey.
After returning from the training camp in Germany, starting from September 25, the Vietnam U17 women's team will resume training to prepare for the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled for October at Binh Duong Stadium. With the experiences and confidence gained from the camp in Germany, the entire team aims to achieve the best results to advance to the continental stage.
