U17 Hanoi claimed the championship at the final stage of the U17 National Championship – Thai Son Nam Cup 2025
On the afternoon of September 26 at Ba Ria stadium, the final round of the U17 National Football Championship – Thai Son Nam Cup 2025 concluded with an intense final match between U17 Hanoi and U17 Thep Xanh Nam Dinh. After an exciting back-and-forth battle, the capital’s youth team triumphed 3-2 to successfully defend their title, extending their impressive streak in the U17 age category competition.
At the end of the tournament, U17 Hanoi took the championship, U17 Thep Xanh Nam Dinh finished as runners-up, while U17 SHB Da Nang and U17 The Cong Viettel shared third place. The Fair Play award was presented to U17 SHB Da Nang. Individual honors went to standout players: Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc (Hanoi) was named Best Player, Tran Manh Quan (Hanoi) became the Top Scorer with 7 goals, and goalkeeper Chu Ba Huan (Hanoi) received the Best Goalkeeper award.
The final round of the U17 National Championship – Thai Son Nam Cup 2025 featured 12 top teams nationwide, held vibrantly and emotionally from September 14 to 26 in Ba Ria (Ho Chi Minh City). The tournament delivered many high-quality matches, providing valuable experience for young players, while highlighting the crucial role of youth development in Vietnam’s football growth strategy. Impressive performances by traditional teams like Hanoi, SLNA, The Cong, PVF-CAND, alongside breakthroughs from regions rebuilding their squads such as Nam Dinh and An Giang, contributed to an inspiring overall picture for the country’s youth football scene.
