The final two matches of round 7 in the Vietnam Women's National Championship on September 30 evening were delayed because of the weather at the hosting locations.
According to the original schedule, the last two matches between Ho Chi Minh City II vs Than KSVN and Hanoi vs Thai Nguyen were set to take place on the afternoon of September 30, respectively at PVF Stadium (Hung Yen) and Thanh Tri Stadium (Hanoi).
However, due to heavy rain, the organizers decided to postpone these matches to ensure proper event management. The official statement from the Vietnam Football Federation reads:
"Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 10, heavy rain in Hanoi and Hung Yen (the tournament locations), to ensure smooth organization, the Organizing Committee announces the postponement of the matches scheduled on September 30 in round VII of the Vietnam Women's National Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup 2025."
These matches will be rescheduled to October 1. Previously, the first match between Ho Chi Minh City I and Phong Phu Ha Nam took place on September 29 with the southern team securing the win. With this result, Ho Chi Minh City I temporarily leads with 16 points. Hanoi has 14 points but has played one match less, so they have a good chance to catch up if they defeat Phong Phu Ha Nam.
