Tuan Hai scored, Hanoi FC secures their second consecutive victory

Hanoi FC overcame Da Nang with a 2-0 win in the 6th round of the 2025/26 V-League season, moving up to 8th place on the leaderboard for now.

Hanoi FC showed strong composure at Hoa Xuan Stadium by beating SHB Da Nang 2-0 in the evening match on October 1st.

Right after the kickoff, the visiting team took a more proactive approach. In the 13th minute, Hanoi FC suffered a major setback when veteran midfielder Hung Dung was injured and had to be substituted by Dau Van Toan. Nevertheless, this incident did not dampen the capital team’s enthusiasm.

In the 24th minute, Luis Nascimento sped down the right flank and delivered a precise cross to Van Quyet. Unfortunately, the Hanoi FC captain’s shot went wide. Tuan Hai also missed the follow-up chance.

The constant pressure finally paid off. In the 41st minute, from a long through ball, Daniel Silva controlled neatly before assisting Tuan Hai, who skillfully chipped the ball to open the scoring at 1-0 for Hanoi FC.

Just minutes later, the Silva-Nascimento connection made a difference again. In the 44th minute, Silva delivered a piercing pass that split Da Nang’s defense, setting Nascimento up one-on-one. The Brazilian foreign player fired a precise left-footed shot to increase the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Da Nang pushed forward aggressively to find a goal. At the 51st minute, Makaric’s diving header was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Van Hoang. At 66 minutes, David Henen broke through after a through ball and fired a powerful shot, but Van Hoang blocked it and then stopped the rebound attempt as well.

Coach Le Duc Tuan brought Vadim Nguyen on in the 61st minute to boost the attack. The Vietnamese-born player immediately made an impact at minute 81 with a dribble past two Hanoi defenders before shooting, but Van Hoang closed the angle well. Da Nang had their best chance in the 92nd minute when Phan Van Long’s free kick hit the post. He followed up with a shot that missed, ending a frustrating match for the home side.

Despite their efforts and creating several chances in the second half, SHB Da Nang could not break through goalkeeper Van Hoang’s defense. Meanwhile, Hanoi FC capitalized well on their first-half opportunities to secure a 2-0 victory, significantly improving their position on the league table.
