The Football Association of Thailand has officially announced the 23-player roster for the national team ahead of two important matches against Chinese Taipei in the second qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
These two matches fall within the FIFA international window in October 2025 and are regarded as an opportunity for the "War Elephants" to solidify their position in the group and move closer to qualifying for the final tournament.
Under the leadership of Japanese coach Masatada Ishii, the Thai national team has made some notable adjustments compared to the squad that finished as runners-up in the King’s Cup last September. Four players were dropped: Peeradon Chamrasamee, Ekanit Panya, Songwut Kraikruan, and Santiphap Channgom. Moreover, key striker Suphanat Mueanta (Buriram United) was forced to withdraw due to injury.
