Vietnam U17 finalizes squad for Asian qualifiers, no overseas Vietnamese players included

Coach Cristiano Ronald has just revealed the preliminary 30-player roster for the Vietnam U17 team assembling to prepare for the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers; notably, no overseas Vietnamese players are included this time.

According to information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), as part of the preparation plan for the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers, the Vietnam U17 team will regroup on October 5th in Hanoi with 30 selected players.

The squad chosen by Coach Cristiano Ronald remains composed of players who participated in the training camp last May and competed in the CFA Team China 2025 international tournament, notably striker Nguyễn Văn Dương and midfielder Chu Ngọc Nguyễn Lực – two players who previously took part in the 2025 U17 Asian Championship final in Saudi Arabia.
