Young striker Nguyễn Minh Tâm expressed his disappointment that HAGL couldn't secure 3 points against SLNA in the 6th round of the V-League.
On the evening of October 3rd, HAGL was held to a frustrating draw by Sông Lam Nghệ An at home despite taking an early lead and being awarded a penalty in the final minutes. The opening goal for the home team was scored by the young forward Nguyễn Minh Tâm. After the match, Minh Tâm shared his regret:
"Personally, I feel very happy and honored to be trusted by the coaching staff to enter the game. Once on the field, I tried my best to fulfill my role. Today, due to the rain, the entire team was unable to fully display everything we hoped for."
"Before every match at Pleiku Arena, we never fear any opponent because this is our second home. Whenever teams come here, we always give our all and dedicate ourselves fully to the fans," Minh Tâm added.
Minh Tâm, born in 2005, is a product of HAGL’s youth academy. The 1.81m tall striker was only registered to play for the Mountain Town team starting from the second half of the 2024/25 season. Before being promoted to the first team last season’s second half, he gained experience playing in the Third and Second divisions with Quảng Ngãi Club, then featured for Long An in the First Division.
Notably, this was also Minh Tâm’s first goal in the National Championship with HAGL. Speaking about his goals for the resumed season, Minh Tâm said: "We will train harder and strive to score beautiful goals and achieve victories for our supporters."
