Nepal finalizes squad for matches against Vietnam, mainly featuring domestic players

Coach Matt Ross has officially released the 23-player roster for Nepal’s national team to compete in the two matches against Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on October 9 and 14.

From the preliminary squad called up in mid-September, Coach Matt Ross has selected 23 players to be registered for the official Nepal team roster for the October FIFA Days matches.

The team is currently ranked 176th in the world, 62 spots below Vietnam, and has never progressed beyond the Asian Cup qualifiers. This time, Nepal arrives in Vietnam with a youthful lineup, but still includes some veteran players as the core.
