Trailing at home, Everton fought back strongly in the second half. Manager David Moyes' substitutions, bringing on Beto and Carlos Alcaraz, revitalized “The Toffees’” attack. In the 74th minute, Iliman Ndiaye was fouled by Maxence Lacroix inside the box, and Ndiaye calmly converted the penalty past goalkeeper Dean Henderson to equalize at 1-1.
The drama peaked in stoppage time. In the 90+3rd minute, a defensive error by Palace proved costly. Jack Grealish seized the opportunity, calmly slotting the ball in close range to seal a 2-1 win for Everton amid roaring cheers from the Goodison Park crowd.
