The goalkeeper duo Haziq Nadzli and Azri Ghani have suddenly requested to withdraw from the Malaysia national team for the two matches against Laos due to health issues.
According to Malaysian media, on the very day the "Malayan Tigers" departed for Laos to prepare for the match on October 9th, the second and third goalkeepers, Haziq Nadzli and Azri Ghani, unexpectedly asked to withdraw due to health problems. This represents a major personnel change as both had outstanding seasons with Kuching City and Negri Sembilan clubs.
