During the October FIFA Days, Nam Định announced two high-quality new contracts. The first is Chadrac Akolo, a forward born in 1995 from Congo. Akolo has played in top European leagues such as the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Ligue 2. His extensive experience at elite levels values him at up to 1 million Euros, making him one of the most expensive players ever to join Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Arnaud Lusamba, born in 1997, holds both French and Congolese nationality and is a talented central midfielder who has represented several renowned clubs like Nice, Amiens SC, Alanyaspor, and Pendikspor. Before arriving in Vietnam, Lusamba competed in top European leagues such as France’s Ligue 1 and Turkey’s Super Lig, proving his capabilities.

With these two new signings, the total value of the Steel Blue Nam Định squad has reached 12.64 million Euros (388 billion VND), a significant increase since the start of the season, maintaining its position as the third most valuable club squad in Southeast Asia, behind only JDT (15.4 million Euros) and Buriram United (14.13 million Euros).

The club currently boasts one of the highest transfer value rosters in the V-League. Percy Tau is the most valuable player at 1 million Euros, followed by Blom (950,000 Euros), goalkeeper Caique (800,000 Euros), Kristoffer Hansen (700,000 Euros), Nguyễn Xuân Sơn (650,000 Euros), and Mitchell Dijks (600,000 Euros). These impressive figures demonstrate that Nam Định is not only financially strong but also building a deep squad ready for ambitious goals.

Entering the 2025/26 season, Nam Định aims to compete evenly with strong domestic rivals and expand onto the international stage. The club’s management affirms a strong investment in personnel, ensuring every player on the field gives their all, and if anyone lacks fitness or form, a quality replacement is always ready. This is a clear message about Steel Blue Nam Định’s determination to establish its position.
