The VFF declared that all online tickets for the return match of Nepal vs. Vietnam in the final Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers have been completely sold.
Although the second leg between Nepal and Vietnam at Thong Nhat Stadium is scheduled for October 14, as of the afternoon of October 7, the VFF confirmed that online tickets are fully sold. This indicates strong fan interest in the upcoming two matches of the Vietnam national team in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
In recent days, attention has focused on FIFA’s sanction against the Malaysian Football Federation for illegally naturalizing seven players. Everyone is still awaiting the AFC’s ruling on Vietnam’s 0-4 loss to Malaysia, as Vietnamese fans hope for a 3-0 forfeit win. Meanwhile, Vietnam must remain focused on their upcoming two matches against Nepal.
Therefore, local supporters are highly interested in the next two matches between coach Kim Sang Sik’s team and Nepal. Besides the sold-out online tickets for the October 14 return match, direct ticket sales for the first leg at Go Dau Stadium are also underway.
On the morning of October 7, at Go Dau Stadium (Thu Dau Mot City, Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF) organized direct ticket sales for the match between Vietnam and Nepal, part of Group F in the final round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. The game is scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 9 and is expected to attract many fans to support coach Kim Sang Sik’s squad in their quest to qualify for Saudi Arabia 2027.
From early morning, the atmosphere around Go Dau Stadium became lively as many fans arrived from 6 AM to line up for tickets. Although the original plan was to start sales at 9:30 AM, due to the large crowd, organizers decided to open 30 minutes earlier to accommodate buyers. On the first day, the VFF released 1,960 tickets priced at 400,000 VND (stands A2, A3, B) and 2,950 tickets at 200,000 VND (stands C, D). Each person is allowed to purchase up to 5 tickets to ensure fairness and prevent scalping.
According to the plan, ticket sales for the Vietnam vs. Nepal match will continue in the following days until all tickets are sold. The match promises to create an energetic atmosphere at Go Dau Stadium, with fans uniting to support the Vietnam team aiming for a perfect victory in the opening game of the 2027 Asian Cup final qualifiers.
