English coach Conor Gavigan is set to manage Hanoi Bulls Club in the 2025 National Third Division League.
After three years of establishment and growth, Hanoi Bulls Club has officially secured its place among the teams competing in the 2025 National Third Division League, marking a significant milestone in the capital's amateur football team's journey toward professionalism.
Notably, the team will be guided by English coach Conor, who holds a UEFA B coaching license, a qualification rarely seen in Vietnam’s amateur football scene. Having a coach with an international certificate at the helm is considered a positive sign, reflecting Hanoi Bulls’ long-term and serious development vision.
According to the club, Hanoi Bulls was founded with the aim of providing a structured football environment for semi-professional players and football enthusiasts in the capital. Starting as an amateur team participating in grassroots tournaments, the group has gradually evolved with a professional organizational system, European-standard training programs, and a strong discipline foundation.
The 2025 National Third Division League features many teams from across the country, divided into three groups. Hanoi Bulls is placed in Group A alongside teams such as Hoài Đức, Luxury Hạ Long, Phù Đổng FC, Đào Hà Football Center, and Hanoi Police Youth.
The groups will compete in a double round-robin format to accumulate points and rankings. The three group winners and the best runner-up will earn promotion to the 2026 National Second Division League.
If the number of teams varies between groups, when determining the best runner-up, the organizers will exclude results against the bottom-ranked team in the larger group to ensure fairness regarding the number of matches played.
The presence of Hanoi Bulls, representing the spirit of the capital, promises to bring fresh energy to the competition. With solid investment, a modern football philosophy, and a strong fighting spirit, the team aims to showcase the image of a professional, disciplined, and ambitious squad in the 2025 season.
