The Malaysia U17 women's team endured a significant loss to Uzbekistan during the friendly game.
In a closed-door friendly in Uzbekistan, the Malaysia U17 women's squad failed to surprise the hosts. Dominating with superior strength, the Central Asian girls easily controlled the match, resulting in five goals scored against Malaysia.
Meanwhile, despite their best efforts, the Southeast Asian representatives managed only a single goal, ultimately accepting a 1-5 final defeat.
However, this loss does not add much pressure regarding results, as it is considered a "high-dose test" for Coach Leila Chua’s team ahead of the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifying campaign in Group A.
