On the morning of October 10th, at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City), a meeting took place to coordinate preparations for the upcoming second leg match between Vietnam and Nepal (7:30 PM, October 14, 2025), within the final qualifying stage of the 2027 Asian Cup.
Attending and chairing the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, and Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh – Director of Thong Nhat Sports Center. Also present were representatives from Security, Thong Nhat Sports Center, and various functional departments of the Vietnam Football Federation.
During the meeting, representatives from the Vietnam Football Federation's departments gave a preliminary report on the organization of the first leg match between the Vietnam and Nepal teams (held on October 9 at Binh Duong Stadium), while reviewing and finalizing plans concerning security, safety, media, spectators, and match management for the upcoming second leg.
Representatives from Thong Nhat Sports Center confirmed they will closely cooperate with the Vietnam Football Federation and related units to ensure the match is conducted safely, professionally, and in accordance with AFC regulations.
The second leg match between Nepal and Vietnam, scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 14, 2025, at Thong Nhat Stadium, will be broadcast live through a collaboration between the Vietnam Football Federation and FPT Play on their digital platforms, aiming to serve a wide audience of fans nationwide.
The organizing committee is also implementing plans to start selling tickets for the live match at the Thong Nhat Stadium ticket counters beginning October 12. Sales hours are from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the morning, and from 7:00 PM until tickets are sold out, whichever comes first.
On the evening of October 9, many supporters were present in the stands at Go Dau Stadium to cheer on Coach Kim Sang Sik’s team. This support is the greatest motivation for the players to play confidently and secure victory.
