Hà Nội triumphs 6-1 over CAHN on coach Harry Kewell's debut

On the afternoon of October 11, the friendly between Hà Nội FC and Hà Nội Police Club (CAHN) ended with an impressive 6-1 win for the capital’s team. This marked an ideal debut for new coach Harry Kewell, who had officially taken charge only two days earlier.

In this match, both teams were missing several key players due to national team and U23 Vietnam commitments. Nevertheless, Hà Nội FC maintained an experienced core with familiar names like Văn Quyết, Hùng Dũng, Đậu Văn Toàn, and Đỗ Hoàng Hên. Meanwhile, CAHN fielded a lineup consisting of foreign players, substitutes, and some players just returning from injury.

On the other side, Vietnamese-Australian midfielder Brandon Ly was also given playing time. Since returning to Vietnam, this England-born player has only played 5 minutes in the V-League, making this friendly a valuable chance for him to showcase his skills.
