Spanish media claims that Lamine Yamal’s father is excessively involved in his son's career, leading to instability inside Barcelona and provoking fierce disputes.

According to journalist Romain Molina, Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, has gained significant influence over his son's career since the 18-year-old player rose to fame at Barcelona. The increasing involvement of Mr. Nasraoui is believed to be the reason for the loss of unity in the Catalan club’s locker room.

Not stopping there, Yamal’s mother, Sheila Ebana, also faced criticism for organizing a “Dinner with the World’s Best Player’s Mother” event, charging up to 150 Euros per ticket. Spanish media claims this act turns Yamal’s fame into a commercial tool for the family’s image.
