Several U23 Vietnamese players will be given the opportunity by coach Kim Sang Sik to play for the Vietnam national team in the second leg against Nepal, and striker Tiến Linh has just delivered some noteworthy messages.
"Many young players have been called up to the national team this time and they are very eager to showcase their abilities.
Linh wants to remind the young players to take the field with a fighting spirit and a strong will to win when given the chance.

Enjoy the match atmosphere and value the chance the head coach has given you. This also serves as the best preparation for the SEA Games at the end of the year – a significant tournament for Vietnamese football."
Regarding the opponent Nepal, Tiến Linh stated: "The second leg against Nepal is very important. After securing a win in the first leg, the Vietnam team is actively preparing for the rematch.
It has been a long time since the Vietnam team last played at Thống Nhất Stadium, and the crowd is expected to be large. Hopefully, the team will win to dedicate the victory to the fans.
Although I am currently third on the national team’s top scorer list, Linh does not pay it much mind.
The most important thing is to be able to play for the national team alongside my teammates. As a striker, my role is naturally to score goals.
Coach Lê Huỳnh Đức has encouraged me a lot recently. Not only Coach Lê Huỳnh Đức but many others are placing their hopes on Tiến Linh. I want to repay that expectation with good form and goals."
