Hêndrio welcomes the new name in a unique way

Hêndrio extends greetings to Vietnamese football supporters and Hanoi... as Đỗ Hoàng Hên makes his official debut.

The official website of Hanoi FC has just officially revealed the local player Đỗ Hoàng Hên (Hêndrio) in a very special manner.

In the introduction video, Hoàng Hên unexpectedly says goodbye to the fans: "Hello everyone, this is Hêndrio. I want to say farewell to all of you. Thank you for always following, supporting, and anticipating me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t play in any official matches and only contributed 7 videos. But life goes on, and I must keep moving forward. Once again, I want to say I love you all."

However, this is just Hêndrio’s farewell message so that Đỗ Hoàng Hên can officially greet Vietnamese football fans: "Hello everyone, I am Đỗ Hoàng Hên, a local player of Hanoi Football Club."

Đỗ Hoàng Hên officially obtained Vietnamese citizenship on October 16. The player born in 1994 will start playing for the capital’s team from round 7 of the V-League, in the big match against Ninh Bình at Hang Day Stadium.

Nevertheless, Hoàng Hên is still unable to join the Vietnam national team for the match against Laos in November because he has not lived and worked in Vietnam for the required 5 years. He will be eligible to debut for the "Golden Star Warriors" in March 2026, in the rematch against the Malaysian national team.
