Minh Vương keeps scoring, Dong Nai firmly holds the top spot in the First Division

Midfielder Trần Minh Vương maintains his steady performance by netting two goals, leading Dong Nai to victory over Long An in the 4th round of the First Division.

On the afternoon of October 18, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai traveled to Long An’s home ground for the 4th round of the 2025/26 First Division. Rated higher, coach Nguyễn Việt Thắng’s team quickly took control and launched attacks from the start.

After missing several chances, the visitors opened the scoring in the 21st minute. From a free kick outside the penalty area, Trần Minh Vương executed a beautiful shot, placing the ball into the far corner of the goal, giving Dong Nai a 1-0 lead.

Refusing to fall behind, Long An pushed back and equalized at the 40th minute thanks to a sharp finish by Anh Tài. However, in the second minute of first-half stoppage time, Minh Vương shone again with a skillful move and a precise finish following a clever pass from foreign player Alex, restoring Dong Nai’s 2-1 advantage.

In the second half, Long An intensified their attacks but failed to capitalize on opportunities, ultimately accepting a narrow defeat at home. The 2-1 win extended Truong Tuoi Dong Nai’s unbeaten streak to four matches, reclaiming first place with 10 points.

Meanwhile, midfielder Trần Minh Vương continues to prove his value by scoring consecutively. With this brace, Minh Vương has returned to the top of the top scorer list with 4 goals. While Công Phượng is still recovering from injury and unable to return, Minh Vương remains the primary hope for the "Green Warriors".
