Unlucky like Gakpo: 3 times denied by MU's goal frame from scoring

If there was any Liverpool player who was the most "unlucky" in the match against MU in the 8th round of the Premier League, it would definitely be Cody Gakpo.

Cody Gakpo was repeatedly denied goals by MU’s goalposts.

Liverpool faced MU at home in Anfield during the 8th round of the Premier League aiming to stop a run of 3 consecutive losses in all competitions. After conceding an early goal by Mbeumo in the 2nd minute, "The Kop" exerted heavy pressure on MU’s goal but on an unlucky day, they were repeatedly denied scoring.

Notably, Dutch forward Cody Gakpo was denied by MU’s goal frame three times. First, in the 21st minute, receiving a perfectly timed pass from Salah, Gakpo dribbled past MU defenders to open up a very wide shooting angle.
