Two outstanding U13 players from the national tournament get to experience Japanese football and culture.
Since 2023, during the National U13 Youth Football Championship Yamaha Cup Finals, with support from Yamaha Motor Vietnam, the Youth Pioneer and Children Newspaper has cooperated with the Júbilo Iwata club (Japan) to organize two special programs for U13 youth coaches and players.
Within the framework of the 2025 National U13 Youth Football Yamaha Cup Finals, Yamaha Motor Vietnam and Júbilo Iwata Club decided to present a gift: a football and cultural experience trip to Japan from October 18 to 27, 2025, for two outstanding players: Cao Huy Hoàng (U13 SLNA) and Nguyễn Mạnh Dũng (U13 Nam Định), one excellent coach Vũ Anh Tuấn (HAGL Club), and a member of the tournament organizing committee.
On October 18, the selected members departed for Japan. As planned, today, the outstanding players, exemplary coach Vũ Anh Tuấn, along with the tournament organizers, visited the headquarters of the Japan Football Association (JFA) and JLeague. The group was introduced to Japanese football and its goal of winning the World Cup in the future.
Many questions from the two players were noted by representatives of the Japan Football Association as very insightful, showing deep interest in Japanese football.
They learned more about the philosophy of Japanese national football and the meaning of “Japan’s Way,” realizing the need to work even harder to achieve their dream of becoming national team players for Vietnam and competing internationally.
Tomorrow, the players will have the opportunity to train and practice football under the guidance of coaches from Júbilo Iwata.
The 2025 National U13 Youth Football Yamaha Cup is a tournament within the national competition system, annually organized by the Vietnam Football Federation in collaboration with the Youth Pioneer and Children Newspaper.
