Player Đinh Xuân Tiến impressed by scoring for Viettel in two consecutive rounds.

“I’m very happy, this is my second time scoring for Thể Công Viettel. More importantly, the team secured the final victory,” Đinh Xuân Tiến shared after Thể Công Viettel’s 2-1 win over SHB Đà Nẵng on the evening of October 20.

This was the second consecutive match where the Nghệ An native came off the bench and scored for the soldiers’ team. Previously, in round 6, he made an impact by scoring the equalizer for Thể Công Viettel in a 1-1 draw against Ninh Bình. This goal not only earned crucial points for the soldiers’ team but also confirmed the strong comeback of the 2023 U23 Southeast Asia Golden Boot winner.

Regarding the nickname "super substitute," Xuân Tiến said: "For me, it’s a stroke of luck and the result of my own efforts."

When asked about coach Velizar Popov, Xuân Tiến revealed: "The coach always tells me to enter the field with the highest fighting spirit. As for playing decisively whenever I’m on the pitch, that’s just my instinct,” Xuân Tiến added.

At the post-match press conference, both Coach Popov and Coach Lê Đức Tuấn praised Đinh Xuân Tiến and affirmed that he is a very promising player who will develop strongly in the future if he continues to work hard.
