Jude Bellingham’s lone goal secured three points for Real Madrid in last night’s Champions League clash.
Real Madrid hosted Juventus at the Bernabeu for the third group stage match of the Champions League. From the outset, the home team pressed their opponent, but Juventus nearly capitalized on two dangerous counterattacks. However, no goals were scored in the opening minutes.
Real Madrid gradually took full control of the match, while Juventus packed their defense with their entire squad in their own half. Ancelotti’s players found it difficult to penetrate the opposing defense despite trying many approaches, especially headers that failed to produce results.
The best chance in the first half belonged to Mbappe, but goalkeeper Di Gregorio made a superb save. In the second half, Juventus suddenly pushed up to chase a goal. Vlahovic had a golden chance, but timely intervention from Militao and Courtois’s excellent reflexes kept Real Madrid’s goal safe.
