Harry Kane sets an insane record that even Ronaldo and Messi can’t match

Harry Kane has accomplished an incredible milestone that even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have not managed to achieve.

Harry Kane is enjoying a stellar season with Bayern Munich. Before the Champions League match against Club Brugge, the English striker had scored 19 goals in 11 games across all competitions. And it took only 14 minutes in that match for Kane to net his 20th goal of the season. Kane easily tapped in close range to double Bayern’s lead.

Reaching the milestone of 20 goals in just 12 matches is the fastest any player has achieved this so far this season.

According to statistics from Opta, Kane reached this mark quicker than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi did at any point in their legendary careers.

Messi reached 20 goals fastest after 17 appearances, achieving this feat three times in his career. Meanwhile, Ronaldo took 13 matches in the 2014/15 season to reach the same milestone, which was his quickest.

Kane is currently on the longest scoring streak of his career, having scored in 8 consecutive games, solidifying his status as Europe’s most efficient striker at the moment. He is also the first player in Europe’s top 10 leagues to hit 20 goals this season. For comparison, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who continues his impressive scoring form, has only 15 goals.

On the international stage, the England captain also maintains explosive form with three goals in two World Cup qualifying matches, including a goal in the 5-0 win over Serbia and a brace in the 5-0 victory against Latvia.

Last season, Kane scored 41 goals in 51 games across all competitions. In his first season at Bayern Munich after leaving Tottenham, he performed even better with 44 goals in 45 matches.

With his current form, Kane is fully capable of surpassing the 50-goal mark, something he has never achieved before in his career.
