Erling Haaland has just unveiled the strict diet and training regimen behind his incredible scoring form at Man City, impressing fans everywhere.
The Man City superstar drew attention by launching his personal YouTube channel and sharing his daily routine in the video “A Day in the Life of a Professional Footballer.” Behind his devastating Premier League performance, the Norwegian striker follows a training and nutrition plan considered the “gold standard” for athletes.
Every morning, Haaland starts his day with a special cup of coffee. He explains: “Coffee is a superfood if used properly. I add a bit of raw milk because it benefits the stomach, skin, bones, and muscles.” The Man City star also mixes in pine syrup to “balance the nutrients from caffeine, fats, and sugars.”Then, he spends a few minutes walking outside to absorb the early sunlight and fresh air — a habit that helps Haaland stay alert and balanced before training.
The 25-year-old striker’s breakfast usually consists of eggs and sourdough bread, providing enough energy for a high-intensity day. Despite his busy schedule, Haaland still cooks for himself, a habit he developed when living alone at 16 in Molde, Norway.
Haaland’s physical secret lies in his exceptional flexibility. After breakfast, physical therapist Mario Pafundi assists him with stretching to increase the mobility of his hips and groin — crucial areas for his unbelievable finishing skills. “I naturally have flexibility in my hips and groin, which is extremely important because without it, how could you score such crazy goals?”Haaland shared.
Next, he uses red light therapy for muscle recovery, then visits the Greenoaks farm in Cheshire to buy beef, honey, and fresh milk — foods known for their rich nutrients that help maintain peak condition. Haaland immerses himself in ice baths and saunas at least five times a week before enjoying dinner of steak, potatoes, and salad prepared by his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen.
Thanks to his disciplined lifestyle, Haaland has scored 15 goals in 11 games for Man City this season. With such terrifying form, who can stop the Norwegian goal machine from continuing to dominate the Premier League?
