In an interview with BBC Sport, journalist Guillem Balague recounted: “When Lamine learned that Barcelona were interested in Rashford, he immediately said ‘Sign him, sign him’.’ He used to play PlayStation with Rashford and always admired his speed and skills.”

According to Balague, Yamal, despite being very young, always shows professionalism and humility. He is integrating well with the senior players in the first team and is respected by other young players. “He is quiet, mature, and really likes Rashford. All the young players at Barca admire Rashford because he has played for big clubs,” Balague added.
