The leadership of the Vietnam Football Federation and head coach Okiyama Masahiko came to visit and support two players, Nguyễn Vân Anh and Nguyễn Thị Thủy, currently receiving injury treatment.
On the morning of October 28th, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Nguyễn Thanh Hà, together with head coach of the Vietnam youth women's teams, Mr. Okiyama Masahiko, representatives of the coaching staff, and functional department members of the VFF visited and encouraged two players, Nguyễn Vân Anh and Nguyễn Thị Thủy — members of the National U16 Women's Team — who are being treated for injuries at the Vietnam Sports Hospital.
These two players were injured during training, diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the left knee, and successfully underwent surgery on October 24th. Vân Anh and Thủy are expected to be discharged on October 30th and will continue rehabilitation treatment at the VFF Sports Medicine Department.
On behalf of the VFF leadership, Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà inquired about and motivated the two young players, wishing them a speedy recovery so they can return to training and competing soon.
Coach Okiyama Masahiko also expressed regret over the injuries to his players and affirmed that the coaching staff will closely monitor their recovery process to provide the best support possible.
This visit reflects the timely care and encouragement from the VFF towards the young female players, who are key figures in the future development plan of Vietnamese women's football.
