Following Juventus's 0-1 defeat to Lazio in this Serie A match, the club has endured three straight losses in all competitions and remains winless in eight games. Coach Tudor has been sacked. Journalist Marco Conterio reports that Juventus plans to confirm Spalletti as head coach on October 28 local time. Spalletti, the ex-Italy national team manager, has also led Napoli, Inter, and Roma.

The reporter noted that on Tuesday, Juventus executive Comolli met with Spalletti to seek a final agreement on his coaching role. There are no financial issues between the parties. Spalletti, who left the Italy national team in June, is eager to return to Serie A. The only remaining disagreement is over contract length. Juventus proposes a short-term 8-month contract plus a renewal option for two years (one season auto-renewal, another linked to performance), while Spalletti demands at least a two-year deal.

In my personal view, Juventus is already deeply troubled. This coaching change not only concerns results but also exposes another scandal of discord between the locker room and management. Some Juventus players lack any fighting spirit, yet they keep banding together to oust coaches. The club must take a firm stance and set an example; otherwise, changing coaches is just a temporary fix and won't eliminate the root problems.
