The 10th round of the 2025/26 Serie A season saw Napoli held to a 0-0 draw by Como at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, while Juventus narrowly defeated Cremonese 2-1.
In Naples, the goalless draw between Napoli and Como was viewed as a clash between two coaches with contrasting styles – Antonio Conte and Cesc Fabregas.
Napoli approached the game as defending champions, leading the standings thanks to impressive form and a 16-match unbeaten streak at home.
In contrast, Como – the newcomers managed by Fabregas – continued their fairy-tale journey, currently positioned in the top six and having recently beaten Juventus.
Napoli were held to a 0-0 draw by the "phenomenal" Como in Serie A round 10
Fabregas made a clear tactical impact. The visitors started confidently, controlling possession at the intimidating Maradona stadium, and even had a chance to take the lead from a penalty in the 24th minute, but Morata failed to beat goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic.
That save allowed Napoli to regain their rhythm, but their attacking play lacked sharpness. Despite Conte introducing attacking options like Lang and Elmas, Como’s three-man defense remained very solid.
The second half saw Napoli apply sustained pressure but struggle to find a way past Butez’s goal. Politano and Hojlund both had chances but couldn’t convert. The match ended 0-0. This result ended Napoli’s four-game home winning streak and put them at risk of being caught by Roma, while Como extended their unbeaten run to eight games.
In the same round, Juventus endured a tense 90 minutes at Cremonese. The "Old Lady" began well with Kostic scoring in the 2nd minute following chaos in the penalty area.
However, after taking the lead, Luciano Spalletti’s team wasted numerous opportunities, including two missed shots by Vlahovic in the 21st and 66th minutes.
