Former Liverpool star mocks MU fan who vowed not to cut his hair until the team wins 5 consecutive matches

A well-known supporter of MU, who once declared he would not cut his hair until the "Red Devils" win five matches in a row in the Premier League, was recently mocked mercilessly by a former Liverpool player after his team dropped points again last weekend.

MU fan 'vowing no haircut' gets trolled

Specifically, Neco Williams – Nottingham Forest defender and ex-Liverpool star – posted a teasing message towards a fan named Frank Illett (nicknamed The United Strand) on social media platform X after the 2-2 draw between Forest and MU at City Ground. Williams briefly commented: "Looks like that hair has to wait longer."

Before that, Illett was just two wins away from his "haircut goal," as MU had a streak of three straight victories against Sunderland, Liverpool, and Brighton. He started this challenge in October last year to "bring some fun" during the club’s difficult times, unexpectedly becoming an online sensation with over 595,000 followers on Instagram.

After the unfortunate draw with Nottingham Forest, Illett posted on his Instagram story the words: "Truly heartbreaking!" along with a broken heart emoji. This meant the winning streak of MU was broken, and his long hair challenge had to restart.
