Jurgen Klopp 'arrives' at the Paris club

Jurgen Klopp, who now holds the position of global football director at Red Bull, made a visit to Paris FC during this week.

During his recent trip to Paris FC, Jurgen Klopp sparked a buzz on social media by appearing alongside the French club's leadership in his new role within Red Bull's football system. At 58 years old, the former Liverpool manager now acts as a strategic advisor, overseeing the entire network of Red Bull-affiliated clubs worldwide.

His appearance at Paris FC also marked one of his first public activities in this new capacity, igniting discussions about how deeply Klopp will be involved in the French club’s project.

This trip was part of his duties within Red Bull’s football network, which includes well-known clubs such as RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Bragantino, and Paris FC. Klopp’s role involves guiding coaching methods, player development, and transfer strategies to unify the football philosophy across the group. His personal visit to France highlights his growing influence, even though the German tactician insists he has officially ended his direct coaching career.

In an interview with The Athletic earlier this year, Klopp openly discussed the possibility of returning to coaching. When asked if he missed the coaching profession, the German strategist stated: “No. Absolutely not. I know I will keep working, but I no longer want to be a coach.”

This is a firm declaration from someone who once lived for every match but now finds satisfaction contributing to football in a different way. His new role allows him to leverage his many years of experience to support multiple clubs without the harsh pressures of the Premier League or Champions League.

When asked if this decision was final, Klopp replied: “I think so. But who knows? I’m 58. If I come back at 65, people will say ‘He said never!’ Well, sorry, at that time I truly believe it 100%! That’s what I think now. I don’t miss the job at all.”

Since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2024, Klopp has embraced a completely different lifestyle. Alongside his son Marc, he co-founded Padel FC, a Berlin-based company promoting the increasingly popular sport of padel. The father and son are currently preparing to open a modern sports center at Wavertree Sports Park (Liverpool), marking Klopp’s return to the city in a new role.

Although enjoying his new life, Klopp remains one of the most respected figures in world football, and rumors about him possibly returning to Liverpool continue to circulate.
