Đình Bắc speaks out to clarify after accusing U23 Vietnam teammate of 'dirty play'

Forward Nguyễn Đình Bắc confirmed that he and his U23 Vietnam teammate Võ Anh Quân were merely teasing each other without any ill feelings.

On October 31, CAHN Club secured a 1-0 victory over PVF-CAND in the 9th round of the V-League. This match featured an exciting contest among several U23 Vietnam national team players, including Đình Bắc and Minh Phúc (CAHN) as well as Anh Quân, Xuân Bắc, Thanh Nhàn, and Hiểu Minh (PVF-CAND). Playing as a defender, Võ Anh Quân was tasked with tightly marking Đình Bắc, leading to many intense duels between them.

On November 2, Đình Bắc unexpectedly posted a photo showing a scratched face on his story and mentioned his U23 teammate with the caption: "You play dirty football." In response, Võ Anh Quân explained: "You ran right into my hand and then say that? I can’t accept that."

However, Đình Bắc’s playful status unexpectedly caused some public concern about possible tensions within the U23 Vietnam locker room, especially with SEA Games 33 approaching.

Immediately, the CAHN forward clarified that both he and Anh Quân were just joking and that there was no conflict at all: "Anh Quân and I are just teasing each other! Please don’t misunderstand!" Đình Bắc recently posted this update. In the comments below, the PVF-CAND defender quickly replied with a witty remark, reassuring fans.

Đình Bắc and Anh Quân (both born in 2004) are currently talented players of the U23 Vietnam national team.
