Premier League: “How I am welcomed is up to the fans. I will always love this club and remain a Liverpool supporter,” Trent shared on Prime Video.
“I am forever grateful for the opportunities and amazing moments we shared; those memories will stay with me forever. No matter what happens, my feelings for Liverpool will never change. I have lifelong memories there, and however I am received, it won’t alter my affection.”
He added: “I have very mixed emotions. It will be an extremely tough match but also very exciting. A big showdown on a grand stage to prove myself. It will feel strange entering the away dressing room, warming up on the opposite side of the pitch, and everything will definitely be completely different.”
“This game won’t be easy, not just because of the atmosphere or how I am welcomed, but also due to the quality of the opponent. I played alongside those teammates and under that coach, so I know how strong Liverpool is. They are a top team, and I knew sooner or later I’d face them, whether in Madrid or at Anfield.”
Even though Liverpool has struggled recently, Trent still shows respect for his former club: “They remain a big team, and no one at Real Madrid thinks this will be an easy match.”

Trent explained: “There has been lots of speculation, like ‘Jude’s agent’ and so on. That mostly happened during his first season at Real Madrid. Every time we gathered with the England team, people were curious about life there. Jude said it was an amazing experience; he had never seen anything like it—from the hunger to win to the enormous expectations of the entire club.”
He continued: “He spoke very highly of Real Madrid, but in the end, I made my own decision. I needed a change for myself, a new challenge both on and off the pitch. Joining Real Madrid was a dream come true for me.”
The big match between Liverpool and Real Madrid will take place at 3:00 AM on November 5th (Vietnam time) at Anfield Stadium.
