Former Manchester United star erupts, causing a sensation in the Premier League

Danny Welbeck’s remarkable form in the Premier League has led many experts and fans to urge coach Thomas Tuchel to recall him to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Danny Welbeck is stirring up excitement in England as he consistently scores for Brighton in the Premier League. With 6 goals this season, the 34-year-old striker is currently the highest-scoring English player in the league, followed by Burnley’s Jaidon Anthony with 4 goals. This impressive performance has sparked calls for coach Thomas Tuchel to give Welbeck a chance to return to the national team.

Thomas Tuchel still regards Harry Kane as the top choice up front, with the Bayern Munich striker having scored 22 goals this season. However, the backup spot behind Kane remains uncertain. Ollie Watkins, the hero of the Euro 2024 semifinals, has clearly declined in form, while Ivan Toney is overlooked after moving to the Saudi Pro League.
