This afternoon, November 3rd, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), VFF President Trần Quốc Tuấn met and encouraged the national women's team before their departure to Japan for training in preparation for SEA Games 33.
President Trần Quốc Tuấn once again congratulated the Vietnam women's team for successfully securing a spot in the 2026 Asian Cup Finals, which will take place in Australia in March 2026.
He emphasized that this is a special achievement, as currently five Vietnamese teams have qualified for the 2026 Asian Finals: the women's national team, the men's futsal team, the U23 team, the U17 women's team, and the U20 women's team. This success demonstrates deep investment and solid continuity between generations of Vietnamese players, especially in women's football.
