FIFA has rejected the appeal from the Football Association of Malaysia, prompting Vietnamese fans to humorously say: 'Take it all the way to the heavens.'

On the evening of November 3rd, FIFA announced its final decision regarding the lawsuit involving the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). The Vietnamese online community then shared humorous remarks about the case.

Recently, FIFA confirmed the penalty against FAM: a fine of 350,000 Swiss francs (CHF), and players Gabriel Arrocha, Facundo Garcés, Rodrigo Holgado, Imanol Machuca, João Figueiredo, Jon Irazábal, and Hector Hevel were each fined 2,000 CHF and banned from all football-related activities for a year. FIFA also mentioned that FAM has the right to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within 21 days.
