FIFA's homepage once more highlighted Công Phượng amid a fresh trending sensation rapidly spreading in Vietnam.

Recently, Vietnamese social media has been buzzing with the phrase “Number 10 Đan Phượng”, originating from the game “Phở Anh Hai,” where players take on the role of a pho restaurant owner in Đan Phượng (Hanoi).

As usual, FIFA’s official page (FIFA World Cup) quickly jumped on this trend in an entertaining way. The global football body cleverly referenced a Vietnamese player with a wordplay, which is "Number 10 Công Phượng. What memories do you have of CP10...?"

This brief and witty post quickly went viral and attracted a lot of attention from Vietnamese fans. Many expressed excitement and pride as Công Phượng (CP10), a player associated with many memorable milestones in Vietnamese football, was named by FIFA in such a youthful and playful manner.

Currently, Công Phượng is signed with Trường Tươi Đồng Nai Club in the national First Division. However, persistent injuries have kept the Nghệ An-born striker off the field for the last 7 matches.
