Manchester United would be willing to sell Zirkzee for £30 million, with a Premier League club possibly making an offer! Loaning the Real Madrid prodigy is highly unlikely.

Manchester United spent big in the summer acquiring Cunha, Mbemou, and Sheshko as new attacking additions, with the total expenditure exceeding £200 million. Nevertheless, Sheshko’s tally of 2 goals in 11 matches indicates his finishing may not be up to par, sparking rumors that Ruben Amorim aims to sign another forward to take Zirkzee’s place.

In recent weeks, news has emerged that Manchester United is keen to loan Endrick from Real Madrid. Since Xavi Alonso took charge, Endrick has struggled to get game time. However, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that the chances of the Red Devils signing this Brazilian talent are almost zero.

Romano emphasized that due to the presence of three major summer signings, Manchester United cannot guarantee Endrick substantial playing time if loaned, while the young Brazilian’s goal is to leave Real Madrid temporarily to secure minutes on the pitch. Therefore, both sides have been unable to reach an agreement. Romano explained: "The chance of Endrick joining Manchester United simply does not exist because he is very eager to get more playing time.”

“He always wants to be on the field rather than sitting on the bench as he does at Real Madrid. Currently, his biggest desire is to gain consistent playing opportunities to showcase his talents and continue developing. Of course, we know Manchester United cannot guarantee Endrick a spot in the starting forward lineup, so for him, moving to another club is the wiser choice.”

It is reported that Lyon from Ligue 1 is the most likely club to loan Endrick, and they have already started negotiations with Real Madrid. Romano said: “At present, Lyon is the team Endrick is most likely to join. Both sides are discussing a straightforward loan deal without any purchase option or permanent transfer involved. He does not want to leave Real Madrid permanently.”

Whether the Red Devils will bring in more forwards in the January transfer window remains uncertain. This may depend on whether the backup striker Zirkzee stays or leaves. Zirkzee is Manchester United’s version of Endrick; he wants to get playing time to secure a spot in the Dutch squad for next year’s World Cup in North America. Over the past two months, Zirkzee’s appearances under Amorim can be counted on one hand.

Because three Manchester United players will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations, Zirkzee will definitely not leave the club before late January. Mbemou and Amad Diallo may play in the Africa Cup until January 18 at the latest, which will affect Amorim’s striker options, giving Zirkzee a chance to get some playing time in the number 10 role.

Therefore, Amorim does not want to weaken the squad by selling players, even if Zirkzee is not a regular starter. Of course, this is not set in stone; if a substantial offer arrives, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos group would still be willing to sell the 24-year-old Dutch forward.

According to "Football Insider," Manchester United has set a transfer price of at least £30 million for Zirkzee. It is said that the only club likely to make such an offer is West Ham United. If West Ham can sell their midfield key player Lucas Paquetá for a high price, they are likely to present an offer for Zirkzee that Manchester United cannot refuse.

Paquetá was rumored in the summer to possibly join Aston Villa or Manchester City, and Villa still remain interested. If the deal goes through, it would provide Nuno Santo with substantial funds which he could use to persuade Manchester United to sell Zirkzee.
