On November 9th Beijing time, the 11th round of the Premier League began. In the latest three matches, the spotlight was on Tottenham’s 2-2 draw after a stoppage-time equalizer by Manchester United, promoted Sunderland’s 2-2 draw with leaders Arsenal, and Chelsea’s commanding 3-0 victory over relegation-threatened Wolves. Consequently, the updated table has Arsenal first, Chelsea second, Sunderland fourth, Tottenham fifth, and Manchester United eighth!

Tottenham vs. Manchester United. This match was a major highlight, a clash among the Premier League’s top six. Early on, visiting Manchester United seized one of their few chances in the first half. In a scramble inside the box, Amad took a precise shot that found M'bomo’s head for the opening goal. In the second half, Tottenham’s attacking threat grew after substitutions, constantly pressuring United’s goal, with the keeper making key saves. However, near the end, Tottenham launched a counterattack; in the 84th minute, after a midfield interception, Tierney sprinted into the box and fired a powerful shot to equalize. In the 91st minute, Tottenham created danger from a corner, and after several attempts, Richarlison scored to take the lead for a dramatic winner. Yet, in the 96th minute, Manchester United earned a corner, and an unmarked De Ligt leapt high to head home an injury-time equalizer, delivering a thrilling finish!

Sunderland vs. Arsenal. Sunderland, a newly promoted team this season, has performed impressively, currently sitting fourth. They hosted league leaders Arsenal, who were on a 10-match winning streak across all competitions, making this a key fixture. In the first half, both sides had chances, with Sunderland capitalizing on a rare opportunity: a long clearance from defense found Mukiele, who headed the ball to Ballard. Ballard surged forward and fired a shot to open the scoring. After halftime, Arsenal gradually took control and launched heavy attacks on Sunderland, quickly scoring twice within 20 minutes to overturn the scoreline. Saka equalized with a timely finish, and Trossard broke through tough defense to score. Later, Arsenal’s failure to substitute led to fatigue, allowing Sunderland to seize momentum. In the 94th minute, Sunderland executed a brilliant combination play with two passes, and inside the box, Ballard headed an assist to Brobbey, who scored easily. The match ended 2-2, with Sunderland’s efficient performance—two shots on target, two goals—making them a formidable challenge that troubled Arsenal greatly!

Chelsea vs. Wolves. This match posed little challenge. Chelsea at home went all out, dominating the struggling Wolves, who had yet to win this season. In the first half, Wolves’ defense held firm against Chelsea’s relentless attacks. However, in the second half, Chelsea’s pressure never eased, and Wolves struggled to cope. Chelsea quickly scored multiple goals, ultimately firing 20 shots to secure a 3-0 victory!
