With Henan beating Yunnan 3-1, Jiangsu leading 3-0, and five teams achieving two consecutive wins, the Women's Volleyball standings for the National Games have been released.

On November 9th Beijing time, the Women's Volleyball group stage in the National Games proceeded with six matches completed yesterday. Henan faced a tough test but still won 3-1 over Yunnan, Jiangsu showed dominant form to sweep Sichuan 3-0, Macau was overwhelmed and lost 0-3 to Beijing, Guangdong confidently defeated Hong Kong 3-0, Shanghai fought through seven sets to beat Fujian 3-1, and in a highlight match, Liaoning was reversed 1-3 by Shandong. Thus, the most recent standings have been finalized, with Jiangsu and Shanghai both securing two consecutive wins to top their groups!

In the third round of Group A, Yunnan initially took the lead against Henan led by Zhu Ting by winning the first set. Yunnan had chances to extend their advantage but failed to clinch the crucial points. Meanwhile, Henan, powered by Zhu Ting’s 26 points, rallied to win three straight sets and complete a tough 3-1 comeback over the weaker Yunnan team. The title favorite Jiangsu displayed dominance against Sichuan, facing little resistance and excelling in both offense and defense to win 3-0 straight sets. Beijing held overwhelming control against the weaker Macau, scoring rapidly on offense while Macau struggled to compete, losing 0-3 with no set score exceeding 15 points!

In Group B’s three matches, Liaoning and Shandong clashed in a battle of strong teams. Liaoning started well by winning the first set but then faltered offensively and could not stop Shandong’s blocks, ultimately dropping three straight sets to lose 1-3 in a comeback defeat. Shanghai met strong resistance from Fujian; after splitting the first two sets 1-1, the following sets remained tightly contested. However, Shanghai managed to score critical points in key moments, winning the last two sets to take the match 3-1. Guangdong launched a powerful attack against the weaker Hong Kong team, quickly turning the match into a one-sided affair and comfortably winning 3-0!

Currently, in the latest standings, Jiangsu and Shanghai hold first place, Beijing and Shandong are second, Henan and Fujian sit third, and Yunnan and Guangdong are fourth. So far, Jiangsu, Beijing, Henan, Shanghai, and Shandong have all achieved two consecutive wins. We look forward to more exciting matchups ahead!
