The Croatian, who was appointed in June to replace Gian Piero Gasperini after a nine-year spell, found it difficult to reproduce the performance Atalanta showed last season when they finished third in the league.
This season, they have only secured two league victories and are 11 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
"Atalanta BC announces that Ivan Juric has been dismissed from his position as first team coach," the club stated in an official release.
"Atalanta BC wishes to thank Ivan Juric and his team for their dedication and extends best wishes for their future endeavors."

The 50-year-old took over as AS Roma manager after Daniele De Rossi was sacked in September 2024, but was dismissed himself within two months.
He later became Southampton’s manager in December of the same year, leaving the club just one day after their relegation from the Premier League.
Local media have tipped former Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino to become Atalanta's new manager, as they get ready to face Napoli on November 22nd following the international break.
