Sheshko’s reimbursement is the key for Manchester United to sign a new striker! The reason behind the €85 million transfer revealed, firmly believing in the rewards of hard work.

Because he scored just 2 goals in 12 games, a lot of people have doubted Manchester United’s €85 million signing of Benjamin Šeško. Nevertheless, The Telegraph in the UK states that the club decided to bring in the 22-year-old Slovenian striker because he fits the profile prioritized by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s leadership — players who maintain a "proper way of life" and exhibit exceptional professionalism.

Learning from past experiences with players like Pogba, Manchester United aims to eliminate negative influences in the locker room, which is why they chose Šeško over more experienced players. The club hopes he will eventually develop into a world-class star.

According to British media, Manchester United players usually need to arrive at Carrington training ground before 9:45 am, but Šeško often gets there as early as 8 am. Before official training starts, he uses a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which increases oxygen levels in the blood and helps prepare muscles. The Telegraph revealed that Šeško frequently trains in the chamber alongside Diogo Dalot.

People often hear players praised as the ones who "arrive earliest and leave last" during training; the last to receive this title was another summer signing, goalkeeper Senna Ramses. So, who is actually the earliest to arrive for training at Manchester United?

In interviews with Manchester United players, Casemiro is most frequently mentioned as the earliest to arrive for training, with Dalot ranking second. Therefore, if Šeško trains with Dalot, it indicates he is indeed one of the earliest players to show up at Carrington.

After regular training sessions, Šeško spends a long time on recovery, including massages, sauna, and ice baths, and places great emphasis on mental conditioning. At home, he enjoys practicing yoga, meditates, and uses a simple relaxation technique called "box breathing," which involves inhaling, holding breath, exhaling, and holding again, typically counting to four. He says this helps him calm down and keep a clear mind.

Therefore, despite Šeško’s recent poor form, the club firmly believes he is a highly talented player with a great attitude and is willing to be patient with the young forward. It remains unclear whether Šeško will recover in time for Manchester United’s home match against Everton at Old Trafford on November 25.

Šeško withdrew from the Slovenian national team due to injury. The national coach Matjaž Kek criticized Manchester United for not promptly informing them about the player’s condition and complained that the national team doctors were unable to conduct an examination. However, a spokesperson for the Slovenian Football Association said on Thursday that the issue has been resolved: "The medical team has received all medical information from Manchester United regarding Šeško, including his current health status and test results. Unfortunately, his injury prevents him from training. The club plans further examinations and treatment in the coming days, so he regrettably cannot participate in this national team fixture. We wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to the pitch."

Former Manchester United scout Mike Brown said: "Van der Ven’s sliding tackle was very impressive. From the slow-motion footage, the tackle did not injure Šeško’s left knee, so the knee pain might not be too severe. I think the timing of the injury was actually quite good, just before the international break."

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated that only if Šeško suffers a serious injury ruling him out for the season would Manchester United consider bringing in a new striker during the January transfer window. "As far as I know, internally Manchester United believes this won’t be a long-term injury lasting six, seven, or even eight months. That’s the club’s view. Of course, recovery takes time; he can’t bounce back tomorrow, but it won’t be a lengthy layoff," Romano said. "This is obviously important news with significant implications for Manchester United’s strategy."

Romano added: "If Šeško’s injury is serious enough to end his season, then Manchester United must consider action in the transfer window. However, based on internal information, the club believes the injury isn’t too severe and won’t last long. Recovery will require time—not very short, but not too long either, which is crucial."

Brown commented: "If Šeško is out for a long period, then Zirkzee will have the chance to prove himself. I believe he will perform well once given playing time; his style will trouble many defenders. I’m not sure if Manchester United’s system suits him, but only after playing several consecutive matches and showing the coach what he can do will we know the outcome."

He concluded: "I think now is the opportunity. If Zirkzee had wanted to leave earlier to seek more playing time, Šeško’s injury might finally allow him to achieve that. The club was reluctant to let him go, so although losing Šeško is undoubtedly a blow for Manchester United, it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. If Šeško is sidelined, Zirkzee will have a chance to secure regular playing time at Manchester United, which could help ease his ongoing frustrations."
