Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount scored in the second half to propel United above Palace into sixth place in the standings.
"Winning every match is crucial, and today once again showed that if we maintain our style but increase our fight for every ball and focus on the small details—accuracy in passing, movement, working at a different tempo—we can beat anyone," Amorim commented.
United's triumph, only their second away win in the past 12 matches, came at the challenging Selhurst Park, where Palace had not been defeated in the league since February.
Although the home side controlled the first half, Amorim, still facing scrutiny after United's slow start to the season, was pleased with his team's energy after halftime.
"We raised the tempo in the second half. We took advantage of the opponents, who we noticed even in the last 15 minutes of the first half were getting tired," Amorim explained.
"But the key difference was the intensity and speed of our play, and the quality when we connected, especially with Josh in the second half, was noticeably better.
"So I believe in the end, we earned the three points, and I'm very happy to deliver that to the supporters."
Zirkzee, who started due to the injury of Matheus Cunha, netted his first league goal in nearly a year and his fourth since joining United in 2024.
"Scoring is extremely important for a striker," Amorim said. "Although he doesn't get many minutes, his performance in the second half is very valuable. That's even more important than just the goal.
"Again, the small details—winning the first ball to gain the second. This connection is vital for our style of play. The goal means a lot for both the team and him."
